Freedom I Think Not
Land of the free,
I dare not to place my feet upon these soils.
For the fear, I may be judged harsher than I already am.
My color is tanned as the sand lays around the oceans that divide so many of those great mountains.
Yet, I get questioned by men of authority cause of this.
I look up to you and ask thee where is this
Land of the free,
How can I place my feet upon this soil if the color of my skin can not judge me?
You cursed them when they built a tower, for they were making to close to the sky.
Giving them all different languages.
We call it the 'Tower of Babylon.'
I believe we all shall be able to place our feet upon the soils within the sands, wherever it may be, and run free, regardless of the tone of skin or tone of the tongue used.
One person shouldn't be able to control the destination of the soil
Regardless of where it's at.
