There's No Place Like Home
I need someone to find me,
remind me. Why the fukk am I here.
there's an empty void inside of me,
Annoyed by the reflection that's in
the mirror.
Let's get one thing clear.
I'm not the devil or nothing to fear.
I think your mother should have
warned you about me.
I'm the little voice in your ear.

Let's go drink some beer.
I think the end is near.
There's no room for a living
anomaly.
This is not a comedy.
Watch me disappear.

You never see me coming 'cause
I'm bringing up the rear.
I make sure the herd is safe, my
actions are sincere.
I've never gotten paid for this,
I'm just a volunteer.
They might have put me on their list,
But I will persevere.

Underneath the veneer, the frame is
old and rotted out.
The damage is severe, and there's mold
in the grout.
The decaying clay is the consequence
of doubt.
The road has washed away, better find
another route.

I'm not trying to shout, I just want to
be heard.
I don't run with a herd, I'd rather fly
like a bird.
I don't go back on my word.
I'd rather choke on a turd.
than give your hate time of day...
I think you're more than absurd.

What has occured, I refer to as reality.
Words that are slurred are a product
of toxicity.
I'll stay undeterred, even though there's
something after me.
You take first, I'll stay on third...
We'll make it home eventually.
