Pain Within
When sober , I try to laugh the pain off.
Too unbearable, sometimes with a Smirnoff.
Tears come and I don't want them remembered.
I cry , knowing my problems are not numbered.
The pain of life is so unbearable.
So hard you don't know what the next one is capable.
Today it cometh with it misery
Tomorrow like the comet it becomes a mystery.
I have family and friends, but the pain within is bigger.
I have been through the better and worse
I have been through the journey from north to west.
And all I get were the strength of hope.
I have met beauties and ugliness.
I have smiled and cried .
I have hoped and prayed.
