The Saddest Part
There was beauty in the way that you loved her
But scattered storms were predicted in your skies
You opened your heart and let your love grow
All the while she fed you unsuspected lies
You swam oceans for her, she took you for granted
Your love in exchange for the deceit she supplanted
Now your tears fall heavily just like the rain
As she moves on to the next, you're left with the pain
It's such a shame when love leaves us broken
Even worse when so much is left unspoken
It makes your wounds slightly harder to heal
It leads to feelings no one would want to feel
The pain is fierce and it hurts so bad
But the saddest part is there's no closure to be had
