Farewell, not so well
Change is the only constant in life
I wish this sentence gave me hype
I'd drift away from people who are my home
I have to walk down this path all on my own
Friends become strangers and strangers become friends
Letting go of people sounds so easy,like it's a trend
But not everything can be won by logic
There exist emotions, and seperation is tragic
A cool summer breeze and beer for two
A reunion with my people, a dream come true
This matters to me more than all the riches
I wish this could be controlled with switches
I look for my people in every new face
Find familiarity in their unfamiliar gaze
Tears well up in my eyes like crystals
My heart feels like it's shot with a pistol
I'm scared of letting you go, my home
