I am often fascinated

With the oddest things

I appreciate the beauty of

Rusty rings and broken plates

Smell of old books and dead leaves


I am fond of these things

I gave them value and worth

Before time takes them away

And all is too late


So, love me now

Hug me tighter

Kiss me often

Before time takes me away too
