they found him wandering about on a sunny Sunday afternoon... amongst a sunflower patch along the highway...

alone, lost, trembling he
she screams "stoppppp, stray doggie"

her husband slams on the brakes ...
the lady runs to the scared , cute pup.... it pauses. backs up....
then licks the lady's face

she cradles his black n tan fur
the husband has a towel to wrap the canine fella' in

she looks at it's brown eyes and says with tears and a smile ....
we shall call him Sunflower 🌻

they laff...
sunflower barks ....

a new chapter begins ....
