FIRST EID WITHOUT A FATHER
As Eid's first light gently graces the sky,
I feel your absence, Dad, as tears fill my eye.
Your laughter, your warmth, now memories dear,
On this first Eid without you, your presence isn't here.
The scent of sweet spices, the sound of the call,
Echo through the streets, yet something feels small.
For without you beside me, the joy feels incomplete,
But your love in my heart makes my sorrow retreat.
Though you're not here to share in the feast,
Your spirit resides in every moment, at least.
In the smiles of loved ones, in each heartfelt prayer,
Your love and guidance, forever there.
On this Eid without you, I'll cherish the past,
Hold onto memories that will forever last.
Though you're not here in body, your soul remains near,
As I celebrate Eid, feeling your presence here
