In shadows cast by tyrants' reign,
Where the vile seeks to conquer and obtain,
A place where the nation's heart bleeds & beats weak,
Its spirit wanes and of death's cold gripping hands,
its chain behold.

Where we live in fear and weariness,
Our morning coffee, a cup of tears,
Slashes and bloody stains, a daily toll,
Death's grim ledger, filled with names unknown,
Our homes, our safest haven, became a place we fled,
Our familiar walls, reduced to dust,
Our mindless breath, a poison to them.

Our very existence,
A fleeting glimpse of peace,
Unhinged we seem, besieged, yet we stand,
Every day is a battle to live or to die,
Our yearning undying, our courage undeterred,
Our faith and hope, a longing lover of our heart,
Our tears and memories, remain a buddy to our souls,
For in our hearts, the flames of hope,
Remain wild, yet couth.

We read our anthems with the invisible lines,
Of familiar names drowned in blood,
We read the lines with ecstasy of pain, grief, and vehemence,
We remain the soldiers of our very land,
Whether big or small, young or old...

We cling to esprit despite all odds,
In our hearts, our love for our nation remains unreserved,
Dear dying being, oh fading self,
May this letter be a testament to our mighty strength,
Our resilience, courage, and endless grief...

Dear dying being, do you know how strong we've been?
We've lost everything yet we saved many lives,
We've died a thousand times yet returned,
To this world of gruesomeness and immorality,
We've fought for our lives several times,
We were choked, we were strangled a million times,
We were starved, we were molested,
We bear scars and multiple fresh wounds,
We're a warrior on this battleground called life,
We've been stabbed, we've been jabbed, punctured, and impaled.
My soul is incomplete without you, your strength and bravery all along...

Oh dying being, your aching heart, and cloaked strings,
Of horror and misery, of grief and its pain,
Of fear, sorrow, and numerous strife,
Of anger and helplessness,
As our nation crumbles into its fading miseries,
And as the tyrants ravaged,
our very dear barricades and all that we've built,
I can feel and relate to your pain, grief, and anguish,
But please do not despair!

So when all letters and lines of hope elude your mind,
Reassure yourself by recollecting old memories,
And listen attentively to the whispers and feelings,
Of our soul which reminds us,
Why exactly we're doing all these...

For the love and justice of the innocent souls,
For the hope of the dying being,
For the tears of the bereaved,
For the brutal massacre of our beloved ones,
For the bloody stains of many flesh,
For scars and bruises in every man,
For the girl in me who was brutally killed,
For the family, I knew that was utterly wiped...

For the crumbling poles of our essence and souls,
For death's cold cruel hands gripping our chains,
For the beauty I used to know and the ashes of its remains,
For the ember of these ashes that rekindles within,
For the reapers at the edges of our ancient walls,
For the me that I was, and the one that I've become...
For the solemn prayers, we make daily,
For our burning fire to glow and the flames to remain alight.

In these verses, find a meaning,
To live, to strive, to move, and to pursue,
Within the brevity of these lines,
Find, a moment's respite,
And a calming reprieve,
This is a note to you oh dying being,
to hold onto your tiny scythe,
And fight on like you were born to win!
