Dear Sadness
Here I am
In the presence of loneliness.
Searching for happiness
At the bottom of this wine.
You're here again,
Quite unwanted,
And ready to flip the pages of my life
Back to my mistakes.
I know I'm not perfect.
But who are you to tell me about my flaws?
You come like ghost,
And scare those joys away.
You leave me with scars of tears
Running through my beautiful face.
Do you want to befriend me?
How can I befriend you?
You're selfish.
You always disappear like the night stars at dawn,
And returns when my friends are away.
I stand in your judgement
Quite guilty
And ready to be whipped by my flaws.
You search every pockets of my heart,
Finding my faults,
Shortcomings,
Limitations
And oil them on the canvas of my mind.
What have I done to you?
