Shiny, blessing, and joyful rain
Earlier we used to have raincoats,
With bright colours like green, yellow and blue,
The dark clouds were the clue,
That God will shower his blessings,
The fragrance of soil wasn't new,
But it was something really soothing,
For us the raindrops used to be pearl balls,
I used to dance like a monkey,
I was little bit chunky,
The puddles used to be filled with so many paper boats,
Afraid of thunders, we used to cover up all of us in shawls.
