Blame
They blame the rich, the ones on top,
they blame the poor, the majorities;
They blame a doctor or a cop,
the rural, suburban, or big cities
They blame the black, the white, the blue,
the young, the old, the middle-aged,
They blame the men, the women too,
They blame the free and blame the caged
They blame you if you have some pride
they blame you if you pick a side
but dont you dare be passive, no
that's letting the injustice go
But no one cares and no one sees
it's not about who disagrees
I wish that they would hear the pleas,
and each accept what might seem strange
If we could all look in our hearts
and realize where the hatred starts
we could take our different parts
and finally make a change.
