A person once near, now out of sight.
Emotions wane, like a distant shore,
No warmth in words, just silence more.

A dance of echoes, memories refrain,
Fading whispers of love's sweet strain.
Once entwined, now adrift at sea,
A person lost, no longer feeling me.

The chapters close, the pages turn,
In the heart's anthology, a lesson learned.
Yet echoes linger, a bittersweet score,
Of a person gone, who felt no more.
