Yet taken for granted.
A love so unconditional,
Yet got embroiled with conditions.
To the world I'm your only one,
But I a pig- ignorant never relished that warmth of yours.
You pricked up your ears whenever the phone rings,
But apart from disappointment you received nothing.
My birthday was no less than a banquet for you,
Tirelessly shining with a broad smile on your face , your only concern was to give your best for me.
But ask me what did I give you?
