I Can Soprano
I can be high in intellect
Striding harder than a model
My voice can soar, I can connect
With notes so high, they make you wobble
I hold my head so high and proud
One can see up my nostrils
I demand to be chosen first
To get first pick in line
While others wait behind, I quench my thirst
Taking my sweet time in stride
I can smell myself, my worth
If not justified by service
I'll call the management team forth
My pride and arrogance, I'll surface
I am multiracial, with both worlds in my grasp
I share with those in power and love like me
I can pronunciate, with vows and overly accentuate
Claiming to speak proper English with glee
But beware, for I can get ugly too
When my dignity is at stake
In praise and worship, I can be undignified
In a local church organizational service, I may break
I can be sididity, oh yes, I can
But even more than just that
I can soprano, in ways you can't imagine
With just a press of my phone, I can rise above the flat
I can soprano, in a whole different way
My style and genre, you may not understand
But that's the beauty of my potential
To have soprano or highest qualities, it's something grand.
