Once a solitary leaf clutched a branch
hanging perilously
it became certain that now
there was no chance .
Looked at its brethren
mostly green
while some appeared
sick , pale , lean.
Not able to hold any more
the leaf spiralled downwards
a guest of wind blew it away
to encounter many encounters.
Plonk !
fell the leaf...
