What Lies In Darkness
The only thing I fear more than the dark
Is what lies within its shadowed mists
Wanting to come into this realm to leave their mark
To bring a scourge upon me and my mind's bliss

Every night I start drifting into the realm of dreams
An uneasy feeling wakes me up
I look around the room for red eyes that gleam
And for class so jagged and rough

I fear things no one can see
But I swear they exist
All around you and we
They constantly persist

During the day my mind is never calm
As dark creatures drag me to my doom
For in the dark there are no walls
Just a deep,dark tomb

To be a writer of the dark and morbid
You must put your mind in a dark place
In order to fully enjoy it
Of course you'll have to set your own pace
As to keep the balance in the Grey Forest
