Crystallized Galaxy
Moments, so beautiful,
Like the glitter in your eyes.
I wrote it down, I didn’t forget,
It only took me some time.

We came from different worlds,
You were on the other side of the road.
Yet we never really knew,
What felt like home.

There, ice melting in our hearts,
And your soul, hidden by stars.

Often, where the ice didn’t melt,
We were met with daggers of frost.
Wounds that cut deep,
Minds shut off.

Thinking there was beauty in this brutality.

Entranced, this galaxy became
Everything, all I ever knew
But stars come and go,
Singing a tune, ever so blue.

How silly it is,
To wait on a shooting star.
