In the quietest part of the night,
When you hover between dark and light,
Wondering if you can float away on dreams,
Hoping they won't turn into screams...
I will be there for you
Holding your hands as you overcome this bizarre nightmare.

I will set lamps in your favourite corners
I will bring you wine so we get drunk
And laugh away this swine of misery
With hope that darkness doesn't consume your soul
Which always held mine when I was once between darkness and light.
