will you wait
for me?
for all that i am
and all i’ll ever be?

will you cross
my bridges?
use my eyes upon
my vistas to see?

there are places
even i
in all my days
have never been.

let us find
those hidden
wonders so that
i may know myself again.

to know you
knowing me,
such delight ensues
as you uncover my heart.

there is hope
easily unearthed,
there is a change
i can surely start.

will you wait
for me?
after i have fallen
short of expectations?

will you help
with rebuilding?
will you restore my
soon to crumble foundations?
