Caged
I still have long way to go,
For I've learned to imitate,
And facsimile others' words,
And plenty more to initiate.
For I've been caged,
So I'd stalk the cage,
Sometimes up and sometimes down,
And Sometimes bite the wall with rage.

I still have long way to go,
For I've listened to people,
Prefer token of supremacy,
And falsity of care.
For I've been caged,
For ages and ages,
I've been an epicentre of amusement,
To the one more civilized.

I still have long way to go,
In search of my soulmate,
Fluttering and chirping,
Singing and whistling.
For I've been caged,
So he'll seek out for me,
Call out my name every moment,
Awakening me from deep sleep.

I still have long way to go,
To seek absolute freedom,
And understanding of wisdom,
For people who brought me here.
For I've been caged,
For ages and ages,
By lurking and stalking,
And hanging and pecking for sere.
