The wide yonder is sky-blue
Is a statement that rings true
The ether is midnight black
Is just as valid feedback
The sky is clearly azure
That sounds veritably sure
One could also simply say
The welkin is passive grey
Or the sky is crimson red
And hit the nail on the head

However, how can the sky
The one a good way up high
That you and I tend to eye
Be all those and many more
Like bronze or burnt orange or
Blanched coral or sky blue pink
Most the hues of printing ink

How can more than one be true?
How can it be black and blue?
Is it a different sky
That we both eye, you and I?
Is it the eye that differs
Is my eye not just like hers?

Is it— same sky, diverse view
Or same sky, contrary hue?
Once again, are both too true?
