Every Rose has a thorn.
Every rose has a thorn,
A fact we've all been taught since we were born.
But still we're drawn to their beauty,
Their colors, their fragrance, their majesty.

We reach out to pluck them,
To hold them close and admire them,
But as we do, we feel a prick,
A reminder that beauty can be prickly and thick.

Yet still we cherish these delicate blooms,
Admiring them in gardens, vases, and rooms.
For their thorns remind us that even beauty has flaws,
And that sometimes the things we love can cause us pause.

So let us admire the roses, thorns and all,
And see in them a reminder to stand tall,
To appreciate the beauty that surrounds us,
Even when it comes with a bit of fuss.
