Everyday a person is lost
Just as a person is found
Like the tide rising and falling in and
Out. Hearing the words “she’s gone,”
Can make a heart ache. It can make
You feel like you’re going to break.
But when you hear the counting and
Cracking of bones, that is when you’re truly lost .
As you wonder through your summer days in a
Deep and dreary haze, the world has set out to be your maze.
Although every once in a while you may find yourself free in a field of flowers;
It can make you forget about the past hours.
