When I come across somebody new,
A part of me wants to befriend,
A part of me wants to critique,
In hope of a blossoming bond,
Lending in trust, A hand I extend.
A part of me warns me of a trick.
A part of me wants to check if he's true.

When I desire to delve deep,
A part of me pushes me further,
A part of me pulls me back,
Amidst doubts, my mind creates a fuss,
Searching for clarity, I shove away fear.
A part of me insists I must know him better.
A part of me alerts before I take a leap.

When ever I dream our togetherness,
A part of me reminds that we've just met
A part of me ensures that he's the one.
Cloud of Confusion hovers over head,
Tearing away suffocation, I march ahead.
A part of me continues to fret,
A part of me seeks my newly found happiness.
