Through the Mirror
You see me looking at you through the mirror,
But it doesn't make what I think of you any clearer,
And although this might not be the be all and end all,
I wish to get closer and inspect you nearer.

What can a person say about the human race,
If you judge a body by its image,
Is it unbiased to say our kind is a disgrace,
Or bias to adore our own visage.

Can you win both sides,
Without being washed up in the tide,
Or make peace and love,
So pure as a dove,
And watch in awe as it glides on by.

Yet it is impossible,
To make silence in death,
Love is a myth,
Put this tale to bed.
