I am black and I am proud
Resound the resilience we have inside
We are a proud nation of multi colored people
We are trapped and oppressed by the system
We were once beaten and chastised to follow order to say that we dont got a mind of our own
I want to tell you that we are leaders of our own free will but yet we still feel caged
We follow the great leaders of this humble nation
the right Excellency Marcus Garvey, Nelson Mandela,the right Excellency Paul Bogle , the right Excellency Nanny of the Maroons and also Martin Luther King Jr. just to name a few ,they fight for our rights to be as one
But yet we are oppressed still thinking that we live in a world that's made of roses with cotton candy and rainbows plastered dreams with the insignificant and insecurities we have as a nation but fail to see that divided we fall and as a multitude we will rise together
Martin Luther King jr. once had a dream in perspective that we might be different but are the same even the right Excellency Marcus Garvey reminded us that we are one people with one aim ,one goal and one dream
Don't let the animosity control you
Don't let the hate and anger consume you
The lord God heard you crying, he feel your pain and I know he won't let your pain goes in vain.
