Without A Doubt
Sometimes life here can be so hard
But we forget who's by our side
God promised us a long time ago
That in Him we can abide!
The sky holds beautiful colors like rainbows
Then sometimes the clouds are gray
Rain pouring down is not what we wanted
It would be nice if the sunshine stayed
There are trials and tribulations
That we all have sadly been through
The Lord knows all about it
Before we were created, He knew!
He knows the pain that we suffer
At times we forget to turn to Him
We know there's a light up ahead
But sometimes that tunnel turns dim!
There have been times when I didn't listen
When God told me He'd get me through
I just tried to do things my way
But what He told me was true
No matter the amount of suffering
The pain that we have in our hearts
The Lord will never leave us alone
He wants us to know what He's taught
Sometimes I forget to call on Him
Because I'm trying to figure things out
Then He reminds me that He's here to carry me
And I know God loves me without a doubt!
