"Echoes of Renewal"
#WritcoPoemPrompt115
Threw out old boxes,
Regrets and photographs,
Empty pockets and lockets,
In memories' aftermath.
Gone are the yesterdays,
Tossed with a heavy heart,
The past, in a haze,
As a new chapter starts.
Boxes of history, now dust,
Regrets, we bid adieu,
Photographs, in the past, we trust,
As time's river flows anew.
Empty pockets, filled with dreams,
Lockets of love, once worn,
In life's ever-changing streams,
A fresh canvas is born.
Let go of what's behind,
Embrace the unwritten page,
In the winds of change, we find,
Life's eternal stage.
