It rang once picking it up immediately,
He answered yes sir,
It was a call from the captain
Asking him to join right away.
He doesn't refuse
He doesn't hesitate
He just couldn't say no
He hungs up the call not knowing how to express himself
He grew blind with his tears
tears of sadness
tears of helplessness
All of a sudden he heard a faint voice asking him who was it?
He quickly wiped all his tears Gathering all the courage,
He turned back it was his wife
Who was 7 months pregnant
They were expecting a baby
And knowing that he wouldn't be there with her during the hard times
His eyes turned red he stared to grew blind with tears
Her one single comforting touch was through for him to bust out into tears hugging her tight he felt his mouth was like desert
Struggling to say
He gathered courage,
he said I have to go his voice fainting at every word.
