Where the shadows lurk...
Into the flames rising out of a setting sun,
I draw in a deep breath before I run.
Daylight is fading the night has begun.
Shadows lurk among the trees, my Heartbeat quickens, can they see me?
I glance around there's nowhere to flee.
I run to a boat and push it to sea,
I'm out of their reach rowing to safety
Towards the horizon that's quite far from me.
I jump in the boat and start rowing away
The boat rocks then gently sways
While I move across the waves.
I look over my shoulder towards the trees,
The shadows are still there do they see me?
