I dreamt of falling down a well,
A narrow tube, deep beneath the earth,
Dark and moist, I saw a small child,
What’s it trying to tell?
What is the language that I can speak but cannot understand? I want to make my dreams come true, and they came to me, but why can't I accomplish them?
This youngster is me or my angel to bring me here; is this a wishing well or am I plunging into unwelcome hell?
Is this passing time deep beneath?
The dark and moist is my overdreams ageing?
