A woman, a man
and our destined roles in the world
Who are we?
Other than
a grain of sand
amidst the beach of time
a speck, a grain
sandwiched
with liquid gold so clear
binding us
like cement to the foundation
without which we perish
sooner or not
yet togetherness unites us all as one
there, we are everything
yet nothing, in the sands of time
