For once I want to be the poem,
The story written down on tears stained paper,
The desperation of a poor soul poured out through faint ink.
I want to be the jumbled up words from a happy heart,
The choking laughter of a joyful soul,
The confusion of a mind in love.
I crave to be the written and not the writer,
The poured out emotions locked up in a journal
I want to be read with tears in my reader's eyes,
