"Every Day"
I climb this mountain every day
With no end in sight
Sometimes I just wanna lay down
And give up the fight
But fight I must do
And carry on I must
Nobody out here I can depend on
Nobody out here I can trust
It sucks quite often
When nobody is there
But I have to remember that in life
Everything isn't always fair
With everything else I have to balance
And everything I have to juggle
Just remembering who I am
Is sometimes often a struggle
I'm hoping I'll catch a break
After looking high then low
Sometimes I feel my life
Is just short of a circus side show
I know I have to stick out
Like a tourist or a sore thumb
Everyone probably wondering
Just where in the hell she from?
Cause obviously she doesn't fit in
Obviously she doesn't belong
You tend to learn out here real quick
When you fuck up and do any wrong
Some just don't take outsiders
Making it quite rough being out here
Not surviving or dying alone
Is one of my biggest fears
But I climb this mountain every day
The end will soon be in sight
I refuse to lay down
And give up the fight
