Within these darken days,
I sit here and within this room.
Trying not to let the past come back in this heart of mine.
Having such a time when love is so bleak and dim.
Never to know if the one is playing my heartstring as pure and true.
As that melody plays over in that part of my mind,
drifting into my heart to keep a glimpse of hope alive.
My heart truly needs to remain open, for it needs to experience Love daily.
Remaining true that my Light will keep out the days that darkens.
