Echoes in the Dark
In the stillness of night, where shadows softly creeps,
Lies a heavy heart cramped with pain,
It cannot lay bare the agony,
As the inner child softly says, "You will be okay, eventually on your way".
The screams hyperventilating towards the barrier,
And bouncing back in the heart,
Increasing the exacerbation of the tormenting words,
Recalling the same thing over and over again.
The darkness faded by and by,
The first light of the sun, came by
But it reminded me of the fact of,
In the silence of the night, the echoes whispered of a new dawn.
