She is called a 'whore' by her husband,
For wearing shorts to her balcony
& All he told her before marriage
Was that he always wanted a modern girl!

She needs to do the dishes and cook the food
Even when she works in an office
Because his work is far more important

She needs his approval to be friends with a guy,
While he has a list of girls on his phone
What he says is the final word ,
A jammed lock on all decisions

She is beginning to lose her identity
To uphold his dignity
In the battle of the sexes
