Stars
Two hearts are shattered
Each other were all that mattered
Their love came with an understanding
His love was so demanding
So many words were left unspoken
It's best thoughts be left unsaid than lie unbroken
And thought they're meant to be
Both eyes sparkle like stars
When no one wept except the willow.
What to explain and what to show.
When it just ended recklessly,
Didn't we do it beautifully?
Didn't you have to say something?
Winter passed but where's the spring?
"The thing" we had is now just vanished.
The time we spent together has perished.
But still, we feel unfathomable love.
On grounds of heart, or high above.
But let it be and now just think,
What was wrong, create a link.
The world is like the sky at night.
We shone like stars and made it right.
Yet we got light and all the strength.
They see us from a certain length.
They judge us on their judging scale,
They say our love's nothing but a tale.
Then let them say, let' em just decry,
They can't reach us, because we're high.
