Joy Will Come
Joy will come tomorrow, with God's grace I believe,
I'll overcome this PTSD, and my heart will relieve.
The battle may seem endless, and the scars may still remain,
But I will trust in God's compassion, and I’ll find joy again.
Flashbacks and nightmares will come and go
Leaving me feeling lost and alone.
But I’ll remind myself of God's promise and light,
And His love helps me win this fight.
Each day is a battle, but I won't give in,
For I know the pain is only temporary within.
He'll lift me up and guide me, through every twist and turn,
And my heart will start to heal, as I begin to learn.
