The Ship
Finally the ship has gone,
Took my heart along.
It went as far as it could,
Maybe at the right time it should.
It went a little too far,
That the taste between us became sour.
From a point where we ask 'how we are?' ,
To the point where we ask 'what we are?'
Yes, it went this far.
The ship was probably going with the flow,
Maybe we could not keep it slow.
It just went too far
that the distance seems more than the star.
Someone asked "did it hurt when they said goodbye?",
"For me this whole thing seemed like a lie."
How could something just fade away like this,
As if it was just a flying kiss that you might also miss.
Now the ship might never come,
It just went where it came from.
I wish the smile could again be worn,
Finally the ship has gone.
