Stigmatization
#WritcoPoemChallenge

Sparing none,
It spread far and wide,
Embracing its victims with a death's grip,
Creating room for no escape.
It lingers deep in the roots of society,
Wiring its threads into the cores of its victims.

It's ruthlessness,
Like the strong tides of the east ocean,
Sweeping its victims into conformity,
Binding them to the sneers of anxiety.
With its burning frame of fear,
Wrapping the livelihood of its victims.

Its sound,
Like the shooting of an owl,
Stares in the face of its victims,
With the desire not to innovate,
But to devoure.
Not only their sanity,
But their total existence,
Conforming them to the dark shadows,
Yet, no guilt unshielded.
