Failing Without A Start
Lost along the way was all I ever dreamed
Trying to reach for the stars upon that silver screen
My life became a mockery of all I ever loved
As I pushed it in a hole with a kick and a shove
Then it was all too quickly at end
There was so much in-between
But it was all from the outside
There's so much I've never seen
As there was no one was on my side, ..in the end
Now I start to fall away into the dark
Making frantic changes to shed my mark
Not to be regarded as nothing but bad
And all the while missing what I never had.
