Heaven's Smile.
Everyone left but me,
I dropped the bundle of roses on the casket and broke down in tears,
Oh if I could turn back time,
To when these tears flowed out of joy,
With you by my side,
I thought I had a friend for a lifetime,
Little did I know death can be so mean,
Though our paths are far apart,
I'll learn to love and become light,
Like you would always say,"love is light",
I know I made a promise to be strong,
But there's a tear everytime I blink,
Oh if I could turn back time,
If fate could bring you back,
If heaven would grant my plea,
My heart will be in joy again,
Knowing I have a friend to share a part of me with,
I saw the clouds gather to mourn with me,
The wind moved calmy to help dry my tears,
Then I felt a rain drop on my cheek,
For a moment,
I sensed heaven felt my pain,
The thought of seeing you no more made me weep the more,
I could not hold back my tears,
The clouds suddenly turned bright after a while,
I looked up and saw the Sun smile at me,
I wiped my tears and smiled back,
With hope I realised,
Heaven had a reason to smile too,
Because you're finally home...
