Reflection of the soul
I look out the window,
I find nothing but my shadow,
Staring at me, I screamed out,
"I wish I was outside, free to shout."
The sky envelops, vast and bright,
A canvas painted in pure delight.
With hues of gold and shades of blue,
It whispers secrets, calling me too.
Oh, how I long to embrace the dawn,
To dance with the breeze, to feel reborn.
Yet in this glass prison, I silently wait,
For beauty unfolds at a different rate.
I love the sky—I found it beautiful,
Wishing to remain, spirit dutiful.
If others see me as flawed or unclear,
I believe in my essence, pure and sincere.
For beneath the surface, where shadows tread,
Lies a heart that beats with dreams unsaid.
