The love we feel,
All go to waste,
We give it to the wrong people,
We fail ourselves,
Because we knew it would always be like that,
End in tears with a broken heart,

The love we feel,
Dangerous in one way or the other,
It heals but hurts,
It's something we can never touch but feel,
Disappoints,
Approaching that person with a different agenda,
We fall deep,
We hurt because we want much of what we are given and expected,
Crying over that someone,
With a broken heart,
We wish them well no matter how badly we were treated.
But still,
We pick ourselves up.
