Motherland
Motherland

Three colours, but one flag.
Different traditions, but one country.
Diverse cultures, but one community.
The smiles of fraternity,
The love of prosperity,
The joy of integrity.
This is our motherland,
When Telangana gets the smell of Assam tea,
When dandiya of Gujarat reaches the coast of Karnataka,
When the coconuts of Kerala lands in Bihar,
When the hands of Punjab and Tamilnadu come together.
We hold our hands, united we stand.
So called "Ek bharat Shreshtha Bharat"
From the Rann of Kutch
To the Sun temple in Konark,
From the hills of Sikkim,
To the seashore of Kanyakumari.
So vast is our motherland,
We live holding her hands.
Known to everyone the handloom,
Before the technological boom.
This is our country called India,
Divided by cultures, united by Indians,
Divided by states, united by Indians,
But proud to live in the Indian soil
Not just a country but an emotion
Welcome, to the wonders of our nation.
