My heart whispers your name
since the day I saw your face.
I found myself waiting on the avenue
just to have a glimpse of you.

Our paths constantly cross
But our fates continuously toss.
I wish I could ask you tonight
to watch the moon from your eyes.

Each day I am saving the courage
to confess and be free from this cage.
To recite all the verses of love
And Yes! I am ready to pour my heart out.

Then I saw you walking towards me.
Slowly, like the time stopped in between.
Suddenly, I heard someone call your name
As she wrapped her arms around your waist.

I immediately turned around.
My feet are stuck in the ground.
Tears started to roll down my face.
Knowing that your heart is already her place.
