OLD SCHOOL POET
OLD SCHOOL POET
I'm tired of not making myself a priority.
Even in your absence i embraced your
memories and ended up prioritising
with your little details.
Who says distancing doesn't crave
for people's company look at here
scribbling about your absence
aimlessly.
Loving you was my decision
and struggling to let go is my
helplessness as you're deeply
rooted in my skin and bone.
I died enough times to breathe
poetry in your name and i don't
know is this sickness or selflessness
to love you more...
For I'm an old school poet who
loves to risk...
