I never sleep when necessary.
I just lie awake all night under moonlight until dawn breaks and the rest of the world comes back to life.
the sky bleeds red in the evening and no one else can see what I am seeing. not just night approaching but another prison cell in my mind. all I have to comfort me is rhyme and these little lies I say over and over until I start to believe them. they won't ever leave me and with them holding me safely, I'll never need anyone or anything.
